Hi! I’m Daniel Binks and I’m a one-person web design and WordPress studio based in the lovely seaside town of Newquay in Cornwall. I have been designing & building websites for companies large & small since 2002. How it all began…

Having just graduated from the University of Hertfordshire with a BA (Hons) Degree in Fine Art, and having focused on photography in my final year, I decided to make a website to promote my photography skills. The site I made was rather crude in terms of code but did the trick – I worked for 8 happy years as a pro photographer all over Cornwall. During this time I continued to build sites for myself and occasionally for friends in need of a web presence. I kept a few choice photography clients and still do the odd commecial photo shoot. In 2008 I decided to pursue web design on a full-time basis. I applied for the best web design job going in Cornwall and what do you know – I got the job! For two years I worked hard in the office all day on “real” projects and came home and buried my head in books about everything and anything that could improve my web skills. I am totally committed to building sites with “Web Standards” and continue to enjoy my work as I continue to constantly learn, improve and develop my online skills.
